Leaders - Need A Lift?
Good leadership is a
channel of water controlled by God; He directs it to whatever ends he chooses. Proverbs
21:1 (The Message) With good leadership, everything improves. Leaders help push people to move forward and
encourage them in the journey. Leaders
help make those around them better and build other's confidence.
The district staff wants to lift up and encourage the leaders of
your congregation whether you are the pastor or other professional church
worker or lay leader. To do this there
are six regional meetings planned around the district. President Weber will meet the assembly and
then participants will choose to attend one of the 5 workshops that are listed
below.
Time: 7 pm - 9pm.

Congregational Chairman/President - This will be a
friendly chat between President Weber and the chairman/president of
congregations.
Ministerial Health Care - Improving the health of church workers and their families is a vital
concern for a healthy congregation. How
can we encourage them?
Finances/Stewardship - What is your
congregation doing in the area of stewardship? Finances. This may benefit treasurers, stewardship or
finance committees
Outreach to the Community - How are members of our congregations connecting to the
unchurched or connecting to the community of which it is a part? Let's talk.
Youth Ministry - Connecting with youth through technology. Information
shared on utilizing Facebook, texting, surveys, and online video in ministry.
