Wausau Deaf Group Dedicates New Chapel
Pastor Knaack and Diane came to the New Hope Deaf Lutheran Church in
Rib Mountain over fifteen years ago. Pastor Knaack reaches out to the
deaf/hard of hearing and hearing people to share the good news of Jesus
Christ. He is the pastor who everyone can relate to. He goes out of his
way for us when we need his counseling.
On Sunday, November 3rd Lutheran Deaf Ministry dedicated a new chapel at Rib Mountain Lutheran Church in Wausau. Pastor Bill Knaack, Missionary to the Deaf for the North Wisconsin District, led the special worship service. Several of the deaf members also participated in the dedication. They have been meeting at Rib Mountain Lutheran for more than 30 years in a different room. Recently they were offered the use of a much larger room which the deaf people repainted, decorated and carpeted. Pastor Knaack and the deaf members were very grateful to Rib Mountain Lutheran for the opportunity to use the new chapel.
